What we collect

• Account data: name, email address, optional company or newsletter name.
• Content data: the briefs you write and the drafts generated and saved by you.
• Billing data: plan, billing status and invoices held by our payment processor.
• Technical data: IP address, device and browser information, and usage logs.

Why we use it

• To provide the service and generate, store and display your drafts.
• To manage your account, subscription, invoices and support requests.
• To keep the service secure, prevent abuse and meet legal obligations.
• To improve the product using aggregated, non-identifying usage statistics.

Legal bases

We rely on performance of a contract (providing the service), legitimate interests (security, product improvement), consent (optional marketing email and non-essential cookies) and legal obligation (accounting records).

AI processing

The briefs you submit are sent to our AI model providers to generate a draft. We do not sell your content, and we do not use your private drafts to train public models.

Sharing

We share data only with processors who help us run the service: hosting, database, AI model providers, payment processing, email delivery and analytics. Each is bound by a data-processing agreement.

Retention

Account and content data are kept while your account is active and for up to 90 days after deletion, except where longer retention is required for tax or legal reasons.

Your rights

Under UK GDPR you can request access, correction, deletion, restriction, portability, or object to processing, and withdraw consent at any time. Email support@nufuwriter.com and we will respond within one month. You may also complain to the UK Information Commissioner's Office.

International transfers

Where data is processed outside the UK or EEA, we rely on adequacy decisions or standard contractual clauses.

We will post any changes on this page and, for material changes, notify account holders by email.
